As we enter 2016, and new projects come into our design studio, we take the opportunity to explore the colour trends that may influence us in interior design this year.
Pantone Colour of the Year 2016
Pantone have, for the first time ever, released two shades for the year of 2016; ‘Rose Quartz’, a soft, warm pink hue and ‘Serenity’, a tranquil cooler blue. Together the colours have been selected to work in harmony in response to consumers who are seeking a sense of calm and well-being within their stressful lives.
It can be expected that in the coming months, ‘Rose Quartz’ and ‘Serenity’ will be seen in many interiors. The two colours complement each other well, making it easy to incorporate them into wall finishes, furniture, furnishings and accessories.
