There’s no such thing as a one-size-fits-all bathroom solution, but there are certain elements that can help to deliver the bathroom of your dreams.
A bathroom is a place for reflection and relaxation, to unwind at the end of a busy day and to beautify us for the day ahead. To face the demands of modern living, bathrooms need to be customised to meet individual client needs. More so now than ever, clients’ want the day spa experience created in their own home, but creating the ideal bathroom isn’t as straightforward as replicating an inspirational luxury hotel bathroom. So how do you create a bathroom that meets your needs and is big on style? Today I want to share something pretty amazing with you. When I first started Bella Vie Interiors I had a goal to become an Award-winning designer. I even shared this goal with my builder who was also just starting out on his own. Fast-forward a few years and after a lot of long hours and hard work, together we achieved this goal.
I'm taking you behind the scenes to see what goes into an Award-winning House. I'll take you through the Design Statement we submitted for the awards and you’ll be amazed at how much value we added to their house and at how much it transformed our clients’ lives. First a little about the awards... Download my FREE Bathroom Renovation Checklist
You want to renovate your bathroom, but you’re not sure where to start. I’m going to take you through a step-by-step guide to renovating your bathroom and how to create a bathroom renovation timeline for your bathroom. But first, let’s get to understand what’s involved in a bathroom renovation…
The first time I watched an iMovie made by my then seven year old daughter, I was amazed. How can a seven year old make a trailer for a movie? I wanted her to make me one for Bella Vie Interiors.
So this morning, after months of watching her iMovies about pugs, cats and unicorns, I suggested she make one about Bella Vie Interiors. I showed her my website and answered a few questions and away she went. She even knew the client names for each project. Amazing what she's remembered from conversations about my work. I think I might hire her... what do you think?
A unique project with pared back, industrial interiors and finishes that look like they belong on a building site make a statement in this Canberra AirBNB.
Builders D3 Projects approached Bella Vie Interiors to design and document the industrial style kitchens, bathrooms and bedroom storage for this very unique property in Canberra. The client's brief was to create a pared back, industrial interior with a finishes that looked raw and unfinished.
The client was very hands on with the selection of fixtures and fittings and had a clear vision from the outset. Bella Vie Interiors designed custom joinery from black ply and timber with simple drilled holes to the fronts instead of handles. The raw timber look tile makes a dramatic statement in the wet areas. Brace board, corrugated iron and concrete are used extensively throughout to create the desired aged, industrial aesthetic. The builders worked very closely with the client to ensure every detail met their vision to create a unique interior to suit their needs.
